net-it is firmly committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all young people to play netball. net-itaccepts its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all young people and protect them from poor practice, abuse and bullying.

With this in mind, net-it follows the practice guidelines of England Netball who have developed a Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy, Procedures and Guidelines that will apply to all individuals involved, paid or in a voluntary capacity in net-itcamps.

Each net-it camp has in place measures to safeguard each individual child. These include:

  • At least one coach per camp with First Aid qualifications
  • Each child is required to be signed in and out at the beginning and end of each session
